We have definately had a very busy week! It seems like it was just last Sunday, and now here it is an hour and a half away from the next Sunday. Life has sure seemed to fly by with Spencer here now. Spencer turned 4 weeks on Thursday and is growing like you wouldn't believe. He is holding his head up really well now and can still roll over from tummy to back - crazy kid! He sure likes to be held and does NOT like to be left alone. Hmmm...I wonder how long this cuddling stage is going to last. I guess I better enjoy it while I have it! He gives us lots of smiles now, especially during bathtime. I think he purposely decides to pee as soon as the diaper is off just so he can take a bath. (Which is a LOT easier now with his cord having fallen off.) Sorry kiddo, no baths at 4:00 in the morning!
Janelle has proven to be a huge help with Spence. She helps put his pacifier in his mouth when he's crying, or helps me get a burp diaper, or some new clothes. She even helps hold him when I have to make dinner or fold laundry and he is being fussy. Things have definately been easier the second time around with all of her help!
Lucky Janelle had a big daddy-daughter date on Thursday at the Barnum and Bailey Circus at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Kyle got free tickets at the last second from a guy he works with. We decided Spencer probably wouldn't be much fun at the circus so he took Janelle by himself and then his boss's daughter (Arielle) and a friend took the other two tickets. They had a really fun time and Janelle especially loved all of the animals. She's been dragging this toy elephant she got (that she named "Dearie") and talking about the circus nonstop since they got back.
Kyle and I are keeping as busy as ever. Both of us are still as sleep deprived as ever, but we seem to make it through the days alright. Kyle's store has been surprisingly busy this month which is great! The store seems to be doing pretty well this year. I'm still trying to figure out playing mommy to two kids instead of just one. Between all the diaper changes and playdates for Janelle and feeding Spencer every 3 hours and trying to keep at least one room in my house clean at a time...things are definately busier! But I'm definately loving it, I can't even imagine life without my sweet little boy anymore!

Ohh. He is so cute. Elisabeth has been a great help with Hayden too. If she sees Hayden standing at the fireplace she will go get him down for me. She is also good little goefer. (hope I spelled it right)
Laura, Such cute pictures! We love baby Spencer.
sounds like a busy household. But that makes them the best.
May the sleep gods look down on you soon!!!
I'm glad things are going so well!
Laura, I would've loved to have taken the boys to the circus. It's so much fun! That's wonderful that Kyle got free tickets!
Lots of cute pictures. Spencer is already looking more like an older baby, instead of a newborn. I'm glad Janelle is so helpful. I should send Avary to your house for some training from Janelle, so she'll be ready when her brother comes :)
