On Saturday we ventured out to Red Robin in Garland (Kyle's choice) for a dinner of yummy hamburgers and milkshakes. Sunday we just took it easy...we went to church, came home and relaxed, opened presents, and then had cake ( his favorite - wedding cake with sour cream frosting) and ice cream with my family who came over. My little sister Emily (with the help of my mom) decorated Kyle's cake, which turned out so cute! Janelle gave Daddy a HUGE glass mug - it's seriously a pint! She also got him his favorite ROOT beer (Stewart's). She picked it out herself, and then insisted that Daddy should share his presents with her. After Janelle was in bed, I made Kyle one of his favorite dinners...open faced meatball sandwiches on garlic bread, and of course, root beer! The best part of the day was that Kyle didn't have to work, so it was a nice and relaxing day!

Yeah, September birthdays pretty much are the best. We're glad Kyle had a good one. Sam knows Janelle's sharing trick too. "Look what I got you mommy - don't you want to share with me?"
