Day 5: DISNEYLAND!!!!

Have you ever tried doing Disneyland with 5 children under the age of 3 1/2? It sure was a busy, but very FUN day! We managed to hit the new and improved Pirates of the Caribbean ride, the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Toon Town, Indian Jones, Buzz Lightyear, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Peter Pan ride, Snow White's Scary Adventure, and of course see the "Parade of Dreams."

We did lots of trading time with kids and going on rides, but it worked and we all had an enjoyable time. The best part of the day was that Janelle was tall enough to go on every single ride in the park except Indiana Jones. So we decided to try her out on some "big" rides. My favorite part of the whole day was going on Splash Mountain with Janelle. It was her very first time on it, and she loved it! After Splash Mountain, my sister-in-law, Jenni took her on the Goofy roller coaster in Toon Town, and when it was over, Janelle said, "That wasn't very long!" So Kyle took her on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which seemed to meet up to her new roller coasting standards. Her biggest disappointment of the day was that we wouldn't let her go on Space Mountain. Although she definately was tall enough for it! Maybe next time.

Much to Kyle's delight "It's a Small World" was closed the day we were there. However, Janelle and I were disappointed. It's such a fun building on the outside, we decided to take a picture anyway.
