What cute kids!
We sure had a busy day today! It started with Janelle heading off to preschool this morning. The last hour was her little Halloween party, so the mommies all went to help out and take pictures. I was watching my nephew, Mark, for the day, so he joined in on the Halloween festivities. The kids enjoyed a cupcake walk, decorating cupcakes, a special Halloween story, and running around in their costumes. After preschool we headed to Grandma Platt's house to show off costumes, take more pictures, and have lunch. Grandma loved her Captain Hook, Ballerina Fairy, and Lion grandkids! And we enjoyed her homemade apple pie! Finally around 4pm we headed back home to have dinner. Janelle, having no nap and a very busy morning, was happy to lounge around the rest of the afternoon, have dinner, and then go to bed! (And mommy was more than happy to put her down early!) Tomorrow starts another busy day starting with a preschool field trip to a mail store (to learn about the mail), a trip to the pumpkin patch, and of course, trick-or-treating! Hope everyone has a happy Halloween!!!
