Christmas Pictures

We hope everyone had a nice Christmas day! The Mammen's sure did! This was the first year we spent Christmas Eve and morning at our own home (over the last 5 years we've spent it at either of our parent's houses). And I have to say, it was really nice! I think we'll do it again sometime! Janelle amazingly slept in until 7:45am, so Kyle and I didn't have to get up too early. Spencer astonished both Kyle and I by sleeping through the whole night Christmas Eve for the very first time. (A fabulous Christmas present!) I guess Santa thought we'd all been pretty good this year, because we all seemed to score big time! We had a nice lazy morning playing with our "toys," having breakfast, and taking our leisure time getting dressed and ready to go to my parent's house for the rest of the day. What a great day!

Helping Spencer open his presents...he was mostly interested in the wrapping paper and bows.

Our Christmas breakfast: chocolate croissants, bacon, oranges, apples, and hot chocolate.
Mmmmmm.....
(Spencer was taking a morning siesta by this time.)

You can't see it very well, but Janelle somehow managed to talk Santa into bringing her the gi-nourmous "My Little Pony" castle. (Don't be fooled by it's small size in this picture...it expands to TWICE it's size!) She talked to Santa twice this year just to make sure he understood her correctly. It's probably just as well, she needed some kind of housing unit to keep all those ponies in!

Spencer scored a CD player for his room so that he can listen to nice soothing music while he falls asleep! His favorite CD: "Disney Lullabies"

Our Christmas Eve 'Jammies
It's our tradition to give one another new pajamas every Christmas Eve. It's the one present we're allowed to open before Christmas!

It looks like you had a great christmas morning at home. Lucky that you got to sleep in, we were up by 5, but that's okay... I was just as excited as the kids were! Merry Christmas!
