At 12:00 this afternoon, it was just wet and rainy. The kids were insanely full of energy, so I made them go outside and run.

By the time they woke up from a little nap at 3:15, we saw the snow!
By 3:30 they were dressed for the cold and out to try and catch some snowflakes.
Spencer LOVED seeing the snow, he didn't care that his cheeks and nose turned a nice cherry red!

So glad I am not the only mom that makes my kids run! Except, while we have had this unruly and cold weather, it has been laps around the dining room table.
We haven't played outside in several months. I CANNOT WAIT for warm weather to return. As for the snow.... well, I think you've forgotten what real snow is like. Want me to mail you a cooler full? Just kidding.
Good for you getting out in it. Sometimes I want Kathryn to go play in it, but I don't want to freeze! Did you get more last night? We have quite a bit here!
