Today my sister and I tried to have a little photo shoot with all 4 of the Platt cousins since we didn't have a picture of all of them. Of course it had to start raining not long after we'd been outside, so we had to make do with indoor shots. Oh man, did it make me T-I-R-E-D!!! I swear, I felt like I'd run another 3 miles when I was done (which I'd already literally done earlier in the day). Forget photography tricks, it was point and shoot the whole time while trying desperately to get the kids to look up and give us some sort of a smile by making weird noises, yelling at them to say cheese, doing jumping jacks, etc.

By the end of it I was sure we didn't get any good ones, but was pleasantly surprised to find a few decent ones. Here is the best one we got of all of them:

Every time I tried to stick Spencer's legs inside the handcart, he just stuck them right back over the edge. What a goofball!
This one would have been perfect if only Spencer had cooperated enough to sit with Celeste, Mark, and Janelle. He was SO squirmy the entire time. It makes me very scared to take him this week to get his one-year-old picture done at Sear's.

Laura you take great pictures! They turned out really cute! Malinda and I tired to get our kids pictures taken together a couple of times and have never had any success.
I am a little nervous because we are having our family pictures taken this week. I am just hoping that both boys cooperate.

The only time my sister and I had success with this sort of thing was a spur of the moment trip to Picture People. The photo shoot even seemed like a bust but when we went back to look at the pictures the first shot was priceless.
Yours are great! I'll be posting a cousin shoot of the girls and their cousin from Daddy's side of the family. Now that photo shoot was a bust! You'll see.

Maybe you can photoshop Spencer into that last one. LOL. Group shots with only children are impossible. With parents seems to be easier, LOL. And then even sometimes it doesn't work.
