Happy Father's Day!!!!

Well, our computer is taking longer than originally thought, we probably won't have it until Tuesday. So I don't have any pictures, but I had to share what Kyle got for Father's Day. I finally scored with the perfect gift for him! I was browsing through the books at Sam's Club one day a few weeks ago when The Dangerous Book for Boys caught my eye. I flipped through it and after a couple pages realized this book had Kyle written all over it. It's full of useful facts, information, how-to guides, history, grammar, advice about girls, etc. that boys are interested in. I decided to buy it and give it to him for Father's Day.

A few days ago I ordered 2 books from Amazon. I hadn't spent the $25 to get free shipping so I asked Kyle if he wanted anything. We still hadn't bought the 3rd "Star Wars" movie, so he told me to get that since he'd been wanting to watch it. I told him that if I got it, that would be his Father's Day present. He was fine with that. Later that evening, Kyle called me in to look at something on his computer (which usually means he wants me to watch a movie preview). I went in our room and he says, "You have to watch this. I heard about this book on Glenn Beck, so I looked it up, and it looks so funny!" So he plays this for me:

When it was over he goes, "Darn, you should have gotten that from Amazon."

Now I am horrible at keeping secrets, so it was really hard for me not to say I'd already bought it for him. But I didn't say a thing, and this morning, Kyle was actually surprised! (A rare occurrence.) I know I scored because he's been reading it all morning!

Anyway, Happy Father's Day Kyle!!! I love you so much and am so proud of the incredible father you are. Spencer and Janelle adore you!
