About a week ago I was flipping through the grocery store ads to see what was on sale for the week. Spencer climbed up in my lap and was really intrigued with all the pictures of food. We flipped to the back of the Albertson's ad pages and found the bakery section. He kept pointing to the Halloween cookies and saying, "Kahkus" ("crackers" which means both crackers and cookies). I finally set him on the floor with the ads and he was content for a good 20 minutes looking for the good stuff. Although he definitely treasured that one Albertson's page with the cookies and carried it around the rest of the night. Who would have thought he would be so easily entertained just by looking at pictures of cookies!

Wow, what a smartie! It's funny how kids zero in on certain things, and its nice when they can entertain themselves for so long!
That's a boy after my own heart. Cookies make me content, too.
