Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Baby Gone?

Almost overnight this child went from baby to
climbing,
disaster zone,
talking,
stubborn,
mess-making
toddler.
How did it happen so quickly??? One second he's sweetly toddling along following me everywhere I go and the next he's in the other room climbing on the dresser or on top of the bathroom counter or throwing cheerios joyfully all over the kitchen floor, or running away with Daddy's contacts case that he found while pulling everything out from underneath his sink. I love this little boy to death, but boy can he get into trouble faster than you can say stop! Please give me a thousand extra shots of energy so I can keep up with this kid for the next 5 years!

That's a little boy for you...TROUBLE. Cute, but trouble. It does happen almost overnight. Heaven help us!

blessed are the mothers of boys-- believe me, it keeps going. I, for example, had to clean up an overflowing toilet at 6am this morning because some little boy thought it would be fun to put a whole roll of TP and flush. Good times.

Sarah- Thanks! I did it on Photoshop Elements, it was one of the image effects...I think the neon one.

Becki- I was totally offended...just kidding! I think Josh just prefers girls with character in their teeth. :)

Brianne & Emily- I love reading your blogs because it makes me feel like I'm prepping for things to come. Life sure is different with little boys!

Yesterday, I happened to glance over at Sam in his highchair just in time to see that he was no longer in his highchair, but had climbed onto the table. So it begins. He's not walking yet so I don't have to chase him around as much as you have to chase Spencer :)That picture is really cool!

that picture is AWESOME! I'm worried that hannah will be like this, even though she's not a boy.

When you need to vent your boy frustrations, I'm the one to call:) We've lost many a contact to curious little boys--when Parker was a little messy 2 yr. old he got into Chuck's contacts and when we couldn't find one, he said he ate it. Oh the joys.

Great picture. Welcome to my world. Hayden is going through the same thing. The gate between the dining room and the kitchen gets climbed over now. Crazy kids.

Oh, I totally understand. I worry about the trouble that my two boys will get into when Austin gets a little older. Jake is already teaching Austin all of his mischievous behavior.
