Despite their age difference, Janelle and Spencer have become the best of friends. I had no clue when Spencer was born what good buddies they would become because of the 3 1/2 years between them. However, that age difference hasn't hindered their brother-sister friendship one bit. I just love seeing them together. Spencer loves to be around his big sister (who he calls "Gigi). He loves playing with her, reading books with her, sitting next to her while she plays on the computer, eating meals with her, watching a movie with her. He tries so hard to do everything his big sister does. And Janelle is usually a sweetheart to him. She helps him with things he can't do himself, she plays with him, she is constantly showering him with hugs and kisses. Of course they have their differences, and get into little fights here and there, but for the most part, they get along wonderfully. I love to sit in the background and watch them interact. It's what makes my job worth it!

I will never understand people who think having/being an only child is a great idea. Siblings are the best!

that is precious!!! just wait until they get older. he'll forget that they were once friends and forget her birthday and her kids names and wait....that's just my brother. spencer would never do that to his gigi!!!
