A blogging miracle

I was lucky enough to grow up in one of the funnest cities in America.  Of course, despite the access to ski areas, miles of biking trails, acres of well maintained parks, and outstanding vistas, Park City would have been no fun without good friends.  Unfortunately, since getting married I haven't been the best at trying to keep in touch with my old friends.  Laura obviously is much better at it than I am (just look at her list of friends ------->), but it doesn't mean I don't care.

Today though I was reading Laura's cousin Kristen's blog and she mentioned how much she likes the fact that blogs help people keep in touch with long lost friends.  So I took that as a point of inspiration and decided to take a stab at finding my oldest friend, Jed Rogers (seriously, I've known him since 1979, and I was born in '78).  All it took was one quick search, and boom, there was his blog.  I then got his phone number and had a great time talking to him on the phone catching up.

I'm now a believer in blogger miracles.

This is us up about to go backpacking up near Bald Mountain. Jed is the one in the red shirt and awesome hat. The other people are (right to left) my dad, Will Rogers, Spencer Rogers, me, and Jed's dad Randy. Taylor is probably taking this picture.

This is from our Eagle court of honor, Jed is in the middle. My other friend there is Bryan, who I have been a bit better at keeping in touch with.
