J - Daddy the spoon keeps turning itself backwards!
K - Janelle a spoon can't turn itself, you're moving it backwards.
J - But I'm holding it here in my hand, and it is moving backwards.
K - You're head is telling your hand to turn it around backwards; you're head is moving the spoon.
J - But my head doesn't control my hand, my arm controls my hand.
K - No, your head controls your arms and your hands, your head even controls your legs.
J - But sometimes my arm controls my head.
K - Nope, your head controls every other part of your body, it tells everything what to do.
(Pauses for a sec)
J - So the head is the Mommy?
I had thought that I had some sway in the family decision making process, but I now know otherwise.

wow, what great logic this little 5 year old has! Kids truly do say the "darndest things"...
Kyle, doesn't Laura really tell you "everything to do"? With being the oldest child comes the tinge of bossiness!
Thanks for sharing, it made me laugh outloud!
