DS Attempt Numero Dos

Kyle brought me home Photoshop Elements 6.0 a few days ago and boy have I been having a ball with it. It's WAY better than my corrupted 3.0 version. Hooray! I decided to digitally scrap our blog from last year, since pretty much everything important is on there. I'm still trying to get the hang of all of this stuff so there are things I like and don't like about each page, but you have to start somewhere right? My friend, Sarah, who is the DS Queen gave me the suggestion to include some kind of element on each page to kind of tie a theme in. So 2007's theme is a circle. On every page there will be a circle somewhere. It may be obvious, it may be hidden, but circles it is. (Thanks for the idea Sarah!) Here are pages numbers 2 & 3...I have a LONG way to go!

they are SO cute. i've decided to go digital too, it'll just have to wait until i have the time...ie after the move. love the circle theme idea-so clever.

Way to go. I don't really scrap book - I do shutterfly books with the templates they have but I've been toying with the idea of giving it a go - of course not until after the baby, bar and move. I've been thinking of doing it for almost 2 years now ....maybe I just need to take the plunge. I think I fear it would be too addicting.

Also, what size do you make your layouts so that they appear that way on your blog? I've had trouble figuring that out.

Thanks everyone!

Shay- To get them on my blog I resize them to a 4x4" image. I've only done it once, so you might be able to go even smaller. I'll let you know after I try it.

They look great! And what a great idea about scrapping the blog. I'm going to have to go back and see if I can do that to mine. I also love Sarah's idea about tying in an element for each page. I'll have to see your album when you finish!!

These look amazing! Your grandkids are gonna have such a fun time looking at all these beautifully organized pages... and if I don't get my butt in gear, my grandkids are going to be digging through boxes and boxes of random papers and photos to find out about my life...

Your pages look great! I have that version of Photoshop. I have no idea how to use any of it. Want to teach me some of your great tricks? :)
