Yes, I admit it, Kyle and I are majorly spoiled. My mom and dad took pity on our lives over the last few months of not seeing one another and sent us packing to Orlando...that or they're just pushing for another grandkid...yeah...most definitely the latter. Anyway, they let us stay in their Disney timeshare and even watched our kids for six whole days. It was the nicest present ever! It was a little weird at first not having two kids with us constantly and not having to lug around a diaper bag and stroller everywhere we went, but we quickly got used to it! Thank you a gazillion million trillion times Mom and Dad!!!
I think the best part of our whole trip was being able to eat out and have an enjoyable dinner. Eating out...actually...eating at all with Spencer is a nightmare. He finishes his dinner in 5 minutes (7 minutes max) and then basically whines or screams until you get him down. Then once you get him down, he realizes everyone else is still at the table and he wants back up because he doesn't want to miss out on anything. So you put him back in his seat and then he remembers that he's done eating, etc., etc. Anyway, Kyle and I had pretty much forgotten how enjoyable mealtimes could be when you have good food and peace and quiet to actually talk to one another. We even found things to talk about other than our kids...weird!
We were able to make it to all the parks and even do all the major rides twice in the time it would have taken us to do them once with kids. It was great! The parks weren't even that crowded, it was the perfect week. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

This is the one line we had to wait in the entire time we were at Disney World. 30 minutes to see Mickey and Minnie. We were at Disney World, we had to see the famous mice sometime!

I know, very flattering, but Kyle insisted on taking this picture. Just lovely. Let me tell you how much fun it was walking around like that.

Our night at our favorite restaurant, Citricos. It was amazing! We're still dreaming of crab souffles, short ribs, and chocolate banana pudding. Mmmmm...

Gotta love the "Bug's Life" 4-D Show! We were very brave even though Kyle still can't watch the spiders coming from the ceiling and I can't stand the bugs running underneath your seat!
This is Kyle on his favorite ride in the whole world. (Did you catch the sarcasm?) He can't stand "It's a Small World." Yet, he totally humored me and went on it once but only because there was no line. Janelle told us to go on some kid rides for her, so we had to follow through! What a nice Daddy!
Both thoroughly entertaining. While waiting for the fireworks, we had to splurge on some dessert from France in EPCOT. The chocolate cake and chocolate mousse were a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

My favorite ride ever: The Tower of Terror
I could go on that ride 20 times in a row and it would scare me silly each time!

We had a fabulous time and were completely happy to be reunited with our kids by the time we got back. The kids are going through Grandma and Grandpa withdrawal (since we NEVER see them). They sure were spoiled all week long! Janelle asks every day when she can go back to their house and Spencer has been asking for Grandpa every time Mom or Dad say "no." I don't feel too bad for not taking them with us.

Wow! That is amazing!! How much stinkin' fun!!! I can't wait to do that in the future! Looks like a blast!
Great pics! I'm most impressed that you were reading our JABC book while at Disney World. D-E-D-I-C-A-T-E-D.
You lucky duck! Looks fun!
Looks like so much fun. I need 6 days away from my kids.
So fun! Isn't it wonderful to have grandma and grandpa so close by... especially if they want to send you on a vacation! Glad you could get away (and a bit jealous too).
what an awesome trip! we were just saying how nice it would be to get away, but we don't have family to watch the kids and it's too crazy right now. SO glad you had fun-it even made me feel like a kid reading about it.
