Both of my kids love, love, LOVE to be read to. Kyle found Superfudge on our bookshelf a few days ago and started it with Janelle. She was hooked from page one. (Can't you just see it in her face?) They just started it on Sunday and are almost done with it! I love it when Kyle reads to them because I can actually get things done and not feel guilty leaving them in front of the tv!Friday, June 27, 2008
Good ol' Judy Blume

That's awesome!!! Does Spencer listen to chapter books? I don't think Kathryn would, but I don't know, maybe I could try. She gets distracted too easily. I look forward to these days!
That's a great book too! Just a note:
I learned in school that research shows your children will do better in school if they see their father reading. I can't wait to Mason can sit for 5 seconds to listen to a board book. :)
I love Judy Blume books too! I think I have read all of them. I used to have them but I think my mom made me get rid of them. I was actually trying to remember the author of those books the other day.
