Stuck.

Some afternoon ramblings...

My brother borrowed my nice camera to take some pictures in New Mexico over the next week and a half, and our other little camera is in hiding. Sooooooooo......I have no new pictures. I'm already going through withdrawal having my nice camera gone because this morning as I was walking Janelle to school the clouds were amazingly beautiful and I thought, I better go grab my camera and take a picture....oh wait...it's on vacation."

And last night we all made graham cracker "haunted gingerbread houses" that turned out super cute....but no camera, so no pictures. Maybe my little camera will come out of hiding one of these days so I can take some. Darn those sneaky conniving goblins that I KNOW stole my camera.

Since I am pictureless and home-bound with my pink eye infected two-year-old...and his "pink ear" (which he insists that he has even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with his ear), I have been on a cleaning rampage. Yesterday I totally cleaned my kitchen - mopped and everything and today I went at it in my bathroom and bedroom. As I was cleaning I realized that I am in love with Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. I'm pretty sure I can not live without them. I'm kind of germ-a-phobic, so these babies are, in my opinion, the best invention on the face of the earth. Who doesn't love to kill 99.9% of germs including the flu virus??? I do! I do!

Enough rambling for now...gotta go run and vote. There better not be any lines like on Monday when I went.

*Update: I went and voted. It was a whoppin' 60 degrees outside (HOORAY!), so I put on my sweater and waited in line with all the old people. There WAS a line out the door but it moved quickly. Got my "My Vote Counted" sticker and now I'm done with politics for the year. Woohoo! Have YOU voted yet?

I like the disinfecting wipes as well. Although, I'm a weirdo and usually use the "all natural" cleaners, so Simple Green is the one I can't live without right now, because I use it for everything. We just got a new camera recently (our old one was finally starting to act "broken" enough for us to justify a getting a new one.) You'll have to give me some tips. I've never owned a DSLR before so I'm still trying to learn how to use it to it's full potential, instead of just keeping it on "auto" all the time.:)And you take some great pictures!

Shay- How fun, a new camera! I LOVE mine. I got it for my birthday but I am still trying to figure out all the features on it. I could sit for hours and just play with it. :) Good thing my kiddos keep me in check! Feel free to email me with questions, and I can TRY to answer them!

P.S. So now that you have a new camera are you going to update your blog? :)

just caught up on your blog, the music entry was so funny! Spencer is definitely a little guy with an opinion. Hey, I figured out how to add pics to my blog. (I know, you're laughing) It's under plattfamm, you'll have to check it out. This one is NOT Erin and Emily's. :P

Yea! Glad you voted. That's awfully nice of you to lend your camera to your brother!! I'm much to selfish.
