Happy Mother's Day Baby Belly

I'm not a huge fan of baby belly pictures...mostly because I just feel ginourmous when I'm pregnant. In fact, I have like maybe a total of 5 pregnant pictures of myself between my pregnancies with Janelle and Spencer. But my mom took me shopping on Saturday to get some new maternity clothes (including this dress), so I finally was feeling cute again on Sunday. (Thanks Mom!!!) I had Janelle take a few pictures for me so you all can see my nearly 18-week baby belly. :)

I had an appointment last Monday and it went great! I only gained one pound (woohoo!). The baby's heart rate sounded perfect and I get to have an ultrasound a week from today! I can't wait! I really have no inkling what it might be. At first Kyle thought maybe it was a boy, and then he thought it was a girl, and now he says he just doesn't know. Either way we will be perfectly happy! We've got clothes for both! We're just really hoping for some nice open legs. :)

I hope all those Moms, Aunts, Grandmas, Cousins and other remarkable women out there had a great Mother's Day! I sure did. I got a yummy pancake breakfast, got to wear a new dress to church, was spotlighted in Primary and then was sung to, and then had an enjoyable afternoon with my mom and family! Thanks Kyle, Janelle, and Spencer for making my day special!

This is what I made my mom for Mother's Day...

I turned these ugly coasters from the dollar store...

Into these!
It's amazing what a little sand paper, scrapbook paper, and Modge Podge can do!

You look so cute in your new dress, Laura. Thanks so much for the fashionable coasters, already using them! You certainly know one of my favorite things...chocolate.

You look great! Can you believe you are half way there? It has gone so fast for me. It is not fair that it goes fast for everyone else but not really the one pregnant. I can't wait to hear if I am getting another niece or nephew.
Those coasters are awesome.
Keep up the pictures it will be good to have later. I am already so glad I took some this last pregnancy.

What a great idea! You'll have to show me how you did that. Don't you just love reworking $1 treasures? Such cute papers.

Those coasters turned out super cute! Just tell her to be careful, mod podge does get yucky when wet! So just no using wet glasses on them. Have you ever tried epoxy? It's awesome for that!
