Friday night Kyle decided to have an impromptu "camping trip" with the kids..."trip" meaning the trek all the way to the backyard. We only have a small tent, so I happily volunteered to sleep inside with Annelyse.
The kids had a ball! I made them pizza and s'mores and Kyle plugged the DVD player in so they could watch "Ratatouille" in the tent. I really didn't think Spencer would stay in the tent the whole night, but he surprised me and made it the whole night!
Ally and I joined them for s'mores...which is when Kyle and I realized that we are REALLY going to have to invest in a bigger tent next time we camp.
What a fun Daddy my kids have!

How funny would it be if I set up my little tent (yes, I actually do have one) in my backyard? Maybe Janelle & Spencer can give me some pointers.
How fun! It makes me jealous that you still have nice weather to be able to sleep outside!
