Here's a little update on Munchkin #4...
We're almost to week 22, yea! More than half way there! This little one moves A LOT. I'm pretty sure she's having a hay day in there kicking, punching, rolling, somersaulting... I have no doubt she will be just as active if not more than her siblings. (Aye, aye, aye.) I pretty much feel her moving around all day long, but especially right about 10pm. Probably because that is when I am the most still, but it's already making me dread the sleep-deprivation coming in July. A friend recently posted a breast-feeding at night question on facebook and all these people answered with such nice things about husbands helping get up in the middle of the night with them and helping them. Kyle's an amazing dad and he is a huge lifesaver to me during the day, but at night I don't get much out of him. Don't worry, he'll be the first to admit it to you. ;) And he always makes up for it during the day, letting me nap, taking the kids out, so I really don't mind getting up with the baby at night. But boy, it SURE makes me tired...even just thinking about it! Maybe by some small miracle this baby will actually sleep through the night before 6 months... Haha!
Anyway...
When we had her ultrasound she was measuring a week big, so she's following in her siblings footsteps and I have no hope she'll be under 9 1/2 lbs. Just please don't let her be over 10! I tell you, a baby under 9 lbs. would feel like a preemie in my arms. ;) It was really fun seeing her sweet face and little hands and feet though. This pregnancy was such a huge surprise to me that sometimes it feels surreal, so it was fun to see her. Made it a little more real.
No names yet. That's just how we roll. She won't be named until we see her. We've got a few names we like, but nothing set in stone. We just like to make sure it's the perfect name!
I went to the endocrinologist last week and my thyroid levels have leveled off to exactly where they should be with the medication I'm taking. They also tested me to see if my hyperthyroidism was most likely just pregnancy induced or would be a lifelong issue. The test showed that it is most likely temporary and just pregnancy-induced Yea! There's a small chance it could still end up being a lifelong problem, but my doctor's not worried about it and I'm really not either. I'll have to keep taking the medication until I'm done nursing and going back to see them every 6 weeks, but other than having to drive really far, I'm okay with it. I've actually had a LOT more energy being on this medication than before I started it. I know pregnancy is hard on your body and makes you really tired, but my exhaustion levels were almost unbearable until about a month ago. Just recently I've been able to exercise again and do more with the kids than just lay on the couch and supervise. ;) It feels good to get some normalcy back.
Once again I've gained most of my weight at the beginning of my pregnancy. I really really hate that, but that is just how my body rolls...four times now. I'm hoping this month things will start to taper off, I seriously was not ready to give up my body again this soon! Oh well. This is our last baby and as much of a surprise that she was, I'm really excited to meet her!
We're still trying to figure out the room situation with four kids here at my parents' house. It will be interesting for the next year, but it'll work out.
So that's it for now. My next OB appointment will include the glucose test - so much to look forward to! ;)

I didn't realize you had Hyperthyroidism. I know that can cause a lot of problems so hopefully yours will go back to normal post pregnancy.
We need to get out and pamper ourselves soon, just no Cheesecake Factory. ;o)
You will bounce right back after this baby I am sure! Love reading about you guys!!!
I'm so glad you're getting your energy back! Pregnancy can be hard enough without other health issues popping up too. I'm so excited for your family, and so excited to see pictures of another cute Mammen girl.
p.s. I can totally sympathize with gaining weight at the beginning, and the flying solo at night after the baby is born. Good times!
