Grandma Kay and Grandpa Bill sent us a very nice Easter package that we got last night. We discovered it on our doorstep after the kids were both in bed, so I left each of their boxes on the fireplace for them to open in the morning. It was like Christmas all over again! When Janelle found her box she gave us an elated commentary with her exclamations of, "I LOVE it! Isn't this purse so cute mom? Can we read this book right now? I love Grandma and Grandpa. Let's go see them!" And Spencer's excitement over his little books was shown by putting each of them straight into his mouth for a taste. Grandma and Grandpa got them these cute little springy outfits that I couldn't wait for them to try on! They also sent us this amazing packet of Old and New Testament, Book of Mormon, Church History, and Prophet pictures to use for Family Home Evening. I'll never have to wait in line at the church library again for a church lesson!
I'm not sure why Janelle ALWAYS cocks her head to the side when we try and take her picture, it's becoming her trademark! Silly girl! And I tried to get Spencer to sit in the chair to do his picture, but he is incredibly squirmy, so he got a standing one. I'm lucky I even got a good picture of him, he's such an on-the-go little man!
