(I have to preface this first...Ever since Janelle was a baby, my brother Daniel gave her the nickname of "Booger." Ever since he started calling her that it kind of stuck and she gets called it quite frequently by me and a few of her aunts. She doesn't usually mind it when she gets called that - because it's always out of affection, but occasionally I think it bugs her. So here's today's lunch conversation:
"What's my first name, Mom?"
"I don't know, what is your first name?"
"It's Janelle!"
"Oh right."
"What's my second name?"
"Hmmm...Pollywalladoodle?"
A giggling, "No!"
"Umm...Georgie?"
More giggling, "No! It's Sleeping Beauty!"
"Oh, I thought your middle name was Emma. I think Emma is a much prettier name than Sleeping Beauty."
"Yeah, that's it. But there's no boogers in my name."
"You're right, that's just what silly Uncle Daniel calls you, huh?"
"Yup."
