Spencer is doing great and growing lots! We saw the doctor today and he weighed in at 21 lbs. and was 30 inches long. I was surprised, but also relieved to see that his weight and height are starting to level off a little. Instead of his weight being in the 90th percentile and his height in the 95th percentile like last time, his weight is in the 75th and his height in the 90th percentiles. STILL, he's a big boy! My back has been aching the last week from carrying him around. We both lucked out today leaving the doctor without having to have any shots. Yea! Spencer is an amazingly happy baby! He only cries when his bottles are all gone and when he's protesting taking a nap. He's a sweetheart and brings smiles to everyone who looks at him!He goes back to his pediatric urologist in a month and a half to check on his kidneys again. He for sure is going to have to have his MAG-3 test again (the one he did in October where they put some dye in him through an IV and watch how it goes through his kidneys). And depending on how the test goes will determine if they really need to go in and unblock the enlarged kidney. The urologist told me at his last appointment that it was pretty likely that he would need the surgery. So we'll see how it goes. Fortunately that appointment is a month away, so I don't have to worry about it quite yet. For now I'm just enjoying my sweet 9-month-old!
P.S. Notice the new Harry Potter book has a cover now!!!
