Just some random pics...

One night I was trying to feed Spencer and get dinner done at the same time. My sweet Janelle came out of the playroom and said, "Hey Mom, can I feed Spencer?" Feeling a little flustered trying to do two things at once, I thought, "Why not?" So she finished feeding him his dinner and did a great job too! My little girl is such a good big sister.

Spencer LOVES his bottles. Once he has one we lay him down on the floor (or in this case Janelle's tiger chair) and he drinks it all by himself. He's getting to be quite independent. He's also giving us all a nice shot of his injured leg. I wasn't going to mention it because all these things keep happening to him, and I feel like such a bad mom when something like this happens. But about a week and a half ago he pulled a lamp over and it burned his leg. He got a good sized blister and we have to keep neosporin and a big bandaid on it until it heals. Fortunately he's been a good sport about keeping it on and getting it changed. People weren't kidding when they said that boys were more rough and tumble than girls.
Janelle has a shoe fettish (what girl doesn't?). She even likes walking around in Daddy's shoes.

Poor Spencer! Don't feel like a bad mom, we can't always stop things from happening.

Isabella has a shoe thing too. She is always wearing different shoes, she has about 10 pairs of flip flops because she convinces EVERYONE to buy them for her. She can never decide which ones to wear so she just keeps about 3 pairs in the car at all times and when its time to get out she decides which ones to put on. For her 2 year portraits I had her wear my heals b/c she wears them around the house so much.

Oh poor spencer!

I'm glad Janelle is such a good helper. Sometimes I wish Kathryn was a little older to help a little more... but she will be whenever #3 comes along.

You know, I think that once they turn 4 they love to help more. esp with the babies. It's nice.

So, girls really ARE calmer than boys? Hmmmm... maybe I do really want a girl next time.

Avary was looking at your blog with me the other day when we were looking at your Easter pictures and the first thing she said when she saw Spencer sitting on the floor was, "He has a bandaid on." Its funny how kids notice those things. It wasn't THAT easy to see. Don't feel bad, though. I know you are a GREAT mom!
