4-Year-Old Faith

This year I am attempting to actually make Janelle's Halloween costume. I'm still a beginner seamstress, so my mom generously agreed to tutor me in Sewing 101. She has been a huge help and has spent a morning and night sewing with me. The first time she came over Janelle was at preschool all morning, and Grandma was still at our house by the time she got home. She was ecstatic to see that we were working on her costume. Grandma left shortly after Janelle got home, but I continued to work on a few parts of her costume that night. When Janelle saw what I was doing she looked at me warily and said,

"Are you sure you should be working on that without Grandma?"

Didn't you know that Grandmas are the supreme authority on almost everything? At least that's how it is at our house.

It's true Ginger, Grandmas really are the supreme authority. The funny thing is that after she said that I immediately thought, "You know, I probably SHOULDN'T be working on this!"

What a funny comment! I'm sewing Avary's and Sam's costumes this year too. And the only reason I can do it is because of my mom.
