I've never cared much for phone cameras. They usually take horrible pictures and once you actually get into the social security office, the guard checks your phone and if it has a camera on it, back out to the car you go to put it away. Because I'm the one that carries the camera around, Kyle doesn't do much picture taking. However, he's taken a few with his phone that have definitely made me smile.
This one was taken at IKEA yesterday. We made a trip out there to check out a media cabinet. And of course, as a reward to the kids for being good, we had to stop in the kids area to play for a few minutes. Spencer found this little air mattress and laid right down. Janelle soon followed suit.
...Oh the GERMS!!!

This picture (obviously not a good one) was taken at 6:00 in the morning in the Dallas airport after our 7-hour-flight back from Hawaii. Spencer was so funny in his pajamas and sandals with his blanky wrapped around him. He was SOOOOOOO tired.

Finally this is Spencer and Uncle Daniel. I think it is so sweet! We miss Uncle Daniel all the way in Idaho!

So all in all, I think phone cameras are definitely an unnecessary frivolity, but they can come in handy every once in awhile.

I totally agree with you about phone cameras. Cute pictures:)Did you have a blast at IKEA? I love that place. Did you find one? I will be making a trip there very soon to get my white shelves. Can't wait.
you're right-some of them turned our really good and if you are actually taking the time to take the picture then it means you really want to capture the moment.
My kids love IKEA too, and every time they go near that air mattress I want to die! Eww, but they also lay down and roll around. Why don't they put a new cover on that thing!?
