Lazy Sunday Afternoons?
Not at our house!
The kids REALLY needed something to do Sunday afternoon, and this is the solution Kyle came up with. It was great, they played and read books in there for a good hour!

News Flash!
Spencer B. is turning 2 on Sunday. So what do we do to celebrate? Give him even more chances to make mommy go crazy by putting his crib away and putting up the toddler bed! Hooray!
We figured it was time. He LOVES Janelle's bed. Every time we have nighttime prayers in her room he lays right down on her pillow and pulls the blankets up. Then he gets really mad when we take him out of it. And even though he hasn't attempted climbing out of his crib, he definitely could if he tried.

We picked the right night to introduce him to his new bed. The kids had a really late night last night at my parents house so they slept in until 10am. I decided to forgo naps this afternoon and took them swimming for almost two hours instead. By 4pm, Spencer was exhausted. But I kept him up until 5:45. Kyle and I put him in his new bed and shut the door. He only came out twice to tell me something about his bed and his pillow. After that he conked out!
(Don't worry we kept out the pack 'n play for emergency purposes.)

Adventures in Cooking:
This is what happens when you turn your back for two seconds on your two-year-old while you're making banana bread. He ends up pouring about 1/2 cup of baking soda into the batter. And even though you think you've gotten most of it except for one teaspoon out, you haven't. So the end result looks like this.

Wow Spencer is getting big!!! I'm not ready to transition Hannah yet, but we have been thinking about it lately. I'd like to keep her in it until there's another baby! But I don't know if she'll last that long. I'm glad she hasn't attempted climbing out of the crib either.
I love your page! It looks great!! And welcome to the digi-scrapping addiction... I mean, hobby. :) You'll never be the same. :)
I love your scrapbook page! Every time you post a new page, it makes me want to start more scrapbooking, but I feel like I barely get a chance to post on my blog, let alone work on the scrapbook pages. But, it is so addicting!
I love it too! I would love to start but now isn't the right time. Maybe this fall when I have 2 of my 3 kids in school all day.
You do a good job on the scrapping. I find that digital is too hard for me because there are way too many options! It's just so overwhelming. Paper scrap you just have to make do with what you have.
Too bad about the bread!
You defenitely have the hang of digi-scrapping. You'll have to let me know how the big boy bed goes. We'll be forced to move Douglas into one in the next month to get him used to it before the baby comes. And he'll only be 20 months so I'm scared speechless!!
Love the digiscrapping. You're leagues ahead of me.
Sorry about the banana bread. That makes me so mad when I waste ingredients but I don't have a 2 yr old to thank for my mismeasurements.
I can't believe Spencer is 2 already, that snuck up (well for me). He's such a cutie. Your digi-scrap looks great. I'm thinking of starting to learn (finally) once we're settled after the move.
that's hilarious about the banana bread. I actually messed mine up this week too...I only used one egg instead of two. I guess I can't multi-task as well as I thought. I love all the digital scrapbooking!
