21?

Happy 21st Birthday to Me!

...........................

Okay, fine. I'm not turning 21....27, actually. Why does 27 sound so much older than 26?
(This picture is of me when I'm 20 though. I don't look that different, right?)

............................

Thanks to Kyle and my parents for making it such a great day! Kyle and I had a fun brunch at this amazing restaurant called Jasper's (while Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids). I got to do a little shopping (with zero complaints from my husband!) for some desperately needed shirts. We picked out some delectable cupcakes at a really cute bakery we walked past to have later with the kids. And tonight we're going to dinner with my parents and sisters (without kids) at my favorite Italian place! Thanks everybody!

WHATEVER LAURA, 27 is not that old... now I turn 29 in November. Holy cow.

If I were to pass you in the street and not know who you are, I would think you were 21. ;)

Happy Birthday! Sad I'll miss the girls' night out celebration. I agree that 27 is not old.

(Especially considering that most of Matt's friends from home are 27+ and are just now beginning to THINK about marriage and a "real" job.)

As old as you may feel sometimes, find comfort in the fact that I will always be/feel older. ;o) Ugh. And yes, you look exactly the same in that pic.

WHAT WOULD JANE BLOG?

I hope you had a good day - Daniel too. I actually always think about you guys on the 12th...having a double birthday has to be good for helping people remember the date. :)

I felt the same way turning 27... why does it sound so much older than 26? Sounds like a great birthday though. Hope you had a wonderful day!

I think odd numbers sound older. The funny thing is I like to think of myself as 21 too - and sometimes when people ask I have to stop and think long enough to remind myself that I am not.

Happy Birthday!
