We had a fabulous Memorial Day! My mom pitched the idea at the last second late Saturday to head over to the lake for an early breakfast and swim before all the crowds hit. It worked out perfectly! When we got there there was hardly anyone there. We got a little pavilion, set up the griddle and had a yummy breakfast of pancakes, bacon, eggs & OJ. The kids of course had a great time playing in the sand and swimming. Kyle brought his bike and hit the trails with my mom and dad shortly after breakfast while I lounged in the sun watching the kids and taking them swimming. By the time we left a little before noon, the beach was packed! As we drove out watching in awe at the huge line of cars just waiting to get into the park, we were happy we'd gotten there early!
I don't have too many pictures because I took my good camera and I was scared silly of getting sand in it. So I only took it out for a couple of brief moments, shot a few pictures, then sent it back to the car far, far away from sand granules.

Here ya go...my next belly shot at 19 1/2 weeks...or 20...or 21 weeks depending on what my doctor says on Monday. Ha ha!

The rest of the day we dipped in the pool at my parents, took naps, watched movies, and had a yummy barbecue. It was the perfect day and we were all sad when Tuesday came.

It sounds like the perfect day.
What a wonderful day you had. That breakfast sounded great! Bill & I were in Charleston, S.C. having a great time.
Love to you all!
