J: "Mom, can you write a note to my P.E. teacher so that I don't have to run tomorrow?"
Me: "Why? Running is so fun! I love running. And it's such good exercise for you."
J: "Yeah, but every time I run I get a brain freeze."
Me: "A brain freeze? Hmmm...you usually only get those when you drink something really cold too fast."
J: "Yeah, but it's freezing in the gym!"

Such cute little quotes! I've started doing the same thing. I try to keep a list of some of the things my kids say each month.
