Happy 35 Weeks!

I started my 3rd trimester with a bang. In the last month I did quite a bit of hiking and walking around Yellowstone/Jackson WY, attended a wedding in Oakland...in heels might I add, helped my mom with my brother's Texas open house...not in heels, then went to the BYU game last weekend. It's been crazy, but it has definitely helped the weeks go by quickly! Here are a couple of belly shots from the last few weeks.

Doesn't this one so look like a paparazzi picture?!?! Hee hee!

How I'm feeling:
Ready to be done! Just this last week I started not being able to sleep at night, so I'm just tired all the time. I have multiple contractions everyday, but nothing consistent (except after the BYU game, but they stopped once I could finally lay down...wouldn't that have been funny!) I went to the doctor this morning (down to once a week visits!) and am almost dilated to a 1. The baby is full term on September 23rd...so I will be working hard as soon as that day comes to just get her out! The baby is looking great! I can't remember if I mentioned that I went to see a perinatologist (sp?) to have an in-depth ultrasound done before we left on our trip and she's definitely measuring big, but only in the 74th percentile instead of the 99th like they'd originally thought. Whew! She'll definitely be bigger, but not ginourmous like they'd originally thought. Thank heavens!

I've definitely started the nesting stage. In the last two weeks we bought bunk beds for Spencer because he was in a toddler bed and we needed the mattress for the crib, got all the baby clothes down from the attic, bought a carseat, diapers and binkies and today I bought material to attempt making the crib bedding. Yeah, we'll see how that goes!

Hopefully the next month will go by fast!!

Congrats on 35 weeks! Can't wait to see the new baby Mammen (but I can wait until at least Sept. 23rd, I guess).
