Remember a few years ago when you actually looked forward to Friday nights? The night of excitement, spontaneity, and fun? This is one of my favorite pictures of when Kyle and I were engaged and we had fun on the weekends...going to parks, going to movies, the BYU volleyball games, trying all the restaurants in Provo, all good fun! Now almost 5 years, 2 degrees, a big move, a new job, and 2 kids later....
Kyle is mowing our sad infected forest grass,
...Laura is typing up preschool stuff,
...Janelle is burning some energy on the trampoline with the sprinkler on,
...and Spencer is asleep (of course).But it sure was a relaxing night!

Isn't it so true?! Luckily we had a date last night, but seriously, those are few and far between. But even when you do have a date it isn't spontanious like it used to be, it must be planned in advance to be sure everything is taken care of.

"You know you are married (and have kids) when you are spending a friday night doing one of three things. 1. Shopping at a grocery store, 2. Cleaning up throw up, 3. Sleeping."

i second that emily. To the days not so long ago when we could stay up forever and still go thru another day, when we never asked what time it was, and when we could sleep in until noon!!! oh, to be young again.
It was fun to see that pic of you and Kyle from the BYU days. I can't believe its been so many years! Time flies!
Cute pictures. Sometimes I miss the before kids days.
And you wouldn't trade what you have now for anything in the world right? :) Definitely a different life before kids.
