Here's another blog entry about our trip:
We spent a wonderful Sunday going to a Newport Beach ward with some of the Mammen's friends, the Eversons. They were putting on their Primary Program that Sunday, so it was fun for Janelle to see it. (Her's is coming up next Sunday!) Every time they sang a song, she'd look up at me and smile because she knew it! We were also pleasantly surprised to meet the family of one of my brother's companions that he has recently had in Taiwan. Daniel and Elder Money were good friends and companions, so it was nice to get to meet Elder Money's Mom, Sister, and Grandmother!
The church building we attended was immediately across from the Newport Temple. So afterwards we walked around the grounds. It was a beautiful Temple, and I would love to go back and go inside it sometime!
After church we spent the afternoon with extended family having dinner and walking along the beach. Kyle's Aunt Kim and her family were able to come as well as his Uncle Keith and his Granddad Gil. It was so nice seeing them again, since we hadn't in a few years. The evening was complete roasting marshmallows at the beach!

Silly cousins! Janelle and Ayden had such a fun time with one another. They played together so nicely and Janelle really misses having Ayden around. I know they will grow up being good friends.

The night was complete with a bonfire on the beach roasting marshmallows for s'mores.

Looks like you guys had an awesome trip! The kids are so cute, and I bet they had a great time with their cousins. Reading about your vacation makes me want to go on one. Maybe I'll have to start planning one for next summer!
