Spencer's got the right idea...already! I told Elly to give Spencer a hug and he tried to book it! Now if only Janelle could learn a few lessons from her little brother and stop smoochin' little Joshie all the time!
Little did we know Spencer would be such a huge fan. I tried cutting it off onto his tray, but he preferred it ON the cob. Now we know!
The ONE cool day we got about a week and a half ago we hauled it to the Dinosaur park, which of course included a hike up the hill to see the lake and the ginourmous mansions of our hometown.

The cake was easy, the lemon filling not too bad after all was said and done (yes, I tried to buy it first, with no luck!), the sour cream frosting would have been fine if I hadn't tried to double it. Oh well, it may have been the ugliest cake I've ever made, but it sure was one of the yummiest!

My first week of the year to teach preschool.
The theme: Space and Planets
Quite honestly, I had WAY too much fun with it. I painted those planets and everything - I miss elementary science projects!
We had a fun time sponge painting planet Earth, learning all the names and all about the planets, space dancing to the "Star Wars" theme, playing "Blue's Clues," making constellations, and singing all sorts of great space songs.

(I taught Pluto as a dwarf planet, just in case you were worried that I taught those kids the wrong information.)

Great catch up of the month! That cake does look good. I remember when we made you cake with lemon filling we asked the bakery at Albertsons for some and they just gave us some in a baggie and made up a price. Did you try that? Not that it matters now and your homemade stuff was probably better. (I think Kyle told us that is what you would want, now to think of it maybe he said that because HE wanted it!)

I have to laugh at the pictures of Janelle. She sure has that pose down, her leg posed and everything!!! How cute! And you look great!! It looks like you've lost weight. Are you doing anything special?? Fill me in on the secret! You look fantastic!
Jenni- While I was attempting to make that cake the memory of yours and Hillary's scrumptious cake came flooding back. I will always remember that cake! It was so YUMMY!
Crystal- I know, I don't know how she came up with that pose! Thanks for the compliment, you're too nice. I have lost a little weight. I've been doing Weight Watchers since March (I think) with some of my friends, and it's definitely helped. I've also been running a lot more lately.
Wilson use to love corn ON THE COB when he was that age too. It's pretty cute. Also, do you think Janelle could teach my husband some table manners? he he...
