Bridal Veil Falls
One of our absolute FAVORITE places to take the kids in Utah is to Bridal Veil Falls. The walk is easy and the kids love playing in the water. And of course it's just beautiful!
This kid thought Bridal Veil was heaven. He absolutely LOVED it! The second he was in that water among the millions of rocks he did not want to leave.

So despite the fact that the water was freezing cold, Spence was completely content right here!
And then of course we had to hike up the falls a little way. So glad I don't have water shoes! Those little rocks are sharp!

Here we go again, up the falls!
By now you're probably wondering, "Where is Janelle during all of this?" Poor Janelle was such a trooper going without quiet times and traveling so much in the car that by the end of our second week she was pooped. She was especially not feeling well this particular day and found a comfortable spot next to Grandma while her little brother basked in the glory of water, rocks, mud, and a sunny day.

As a side note, as much as we love the falls we have to offer our condolences to the Cleverley Family, who's daughter Camille was found dead at the falls after she went missing over a week ago. The cliffs that make the place so beautiful and awe inspiring can also be very dangerous when climbed without proper protection, and even worse, without companionship. It is sad that a place we love so much is now a place of sorrow for this family.

That is so sad about Camille Cleverley. I feel so bad for the family. Did you know she was from Boise?
I remember Bridal Veil Falls! It use to be a location for *getting away from campus* when I lived in Provo. It is so beautiful there.
