Here are a few Janelley-isms that we have enjoyed lately.1. After a busy day of playing and no quiet time, Janelle was getting nice and grouchy by about dinner time this evening. Kyle and I were done with dinner and Janelle was still lingering (as usual) trying to finish her salad and Spencer was still contentedly chomping down a bowl of cereal. Spencer's favorite thing in the whole world is cookies. He walks around all day long saying "Cookies!" While he was eating dinner he was babbling to himself and then started talking about cookies. Grouchy Janelle turned to him and yelled obstinately,
"WE'RE OUT OF COOKIES AND WE'RE OUT OF DOUGH!"
Don't worry it didn't phase him at all, he kept right on babbling and finishing his dinner. While reprimanding her for yelling at her brother for no apparent reason, I was having a really hard time keeping the laughter in!
2. About a week ago we were practicing counting by tens. For some reason Janelle has a hard time remembering twenty.
"Ten, two-dee, thirty, forty...."
3. Our little princess poked herself in the eye at dinner tonight. While crying she looked up at me and said, "Does my eye look red?" (She's extremely paranoid about blood...hmmm, wonder where she gets that?)
"Nope, I think you're going to be okay."
Are you sure? It's still blue?
4. "Mommy what kind of instrument is a trenchismo?"
Anybody got any ideas out there? 'Cause I didn't.

Those are so funny! Janelle has the best imagination, and she is not afraid to ask a question. I love that! I hope she never looses that, ever!
Those are hilarious! I would have had a really hard time not laughing at what she said to Spencer! And a trenchismo?! What an imagination!
