Pretty Great.

On Monday Janelle and I went with my mom to have lunch with my Great-Grandmother for her 94th birthday. Mimi was pretty happy to see us, and the coolest part was we were able to get a 5 generation picture with her. The last picture we took of Janelle and Mimi was 5 years ago when Janelle was only 7 months old. So we got another one on Monday with my Grandpa.

Here it is! Five generations: Mimi, my Grandpa, my Mom, Me, and Janelle. Janelle was a little shy when we first got there, but she quickly warmed up to Mimi. And I know when she's older she'll appreciate the pictures we took. Not too many people can say that they knew their great-great-grandmother!Something I forgot about Mimi is that she loves the color pink. On her birthday she was wearing a pink shirt and pink pants and her fingernails were painted pink. Janelle was tickled {pink} to find they shared a favorite color!
