One of my good friends asked me if I would mind taking their family Christmas picture. Of course I was flattered! It was so fun taking their picture and I learned lots from my first official shoot. It made me super excited to practice more! I'm finding the more pictures I take the more I learn and feel comfortable with my new camera. Originally I'd wanted to offer friends and family a free Christmas photo shoot, but the month of November and early December were WAY too busy. So I'm thinking Valentine's Day or Easter I'll start offering my services for those that are nice enough to let me take pictures of your family or kids so I can practice. Just let me know! I'm still very much an amateur and have a LOT to learn. But I definitely love taking pictures!

Those are great, Laura! You've really got some talent! Since you're into photography, you would probably enjoy checking out my cousin's wife's (cousin-in-law?) blog (the Thalgott link on my blog). She takes wonderful pictures, so I just love looking at them.

you'll have to see my blog:) i just posted ours- looks sooo similar. its so funny. joey has a pretty good camera and we asked melissa if she would come with us and help. she did a great job even though she was scared:) i told her to just push the button! i think its funny how we had the same idea and even the same color clothes but i swear we took ours almost 2 weeks ago! we didn't copy. :)

So cute!!! I totally need your expertise this spring/summer if you're up to the challenge. Maybe I could trade you for some vinyl lettering or magnet board or something. I'm due to have a baby April 1st and am dying to have a new family shot afterwards
