More Swimming

We took the kids swimming yesterday. I thought we would be swimming in the indoor pool because it's still a little chilly for outside swimming. But the outdoor pool was heated to a perfect 85 degrees and felt SO GOOD! It was a little cold once you got out because of the wind, but the kids didn't seem to mind. I'm trying to positively reinforce Janelle's swimming by taking her lots! (Plus it makes her REALLY tired, so she's nice and ready to go to bed by 6:30 every night!) While Janelle is my timid swimmer, Spencer is my CRAZY swimmer. He absolutely loved the pool. He kept trying to crawl further and further into the water until he went under a couple of times. However, he didn't seem to care at all that his face was under the water. (Thank heavens!) I think babies naturally know to not breathe under water, because he didn't even choke very much the times he was under water. Don't you love how white we all are???

BREATHE..........................................................GO!!!!

P.S. If you'll notice, I've done a little rearranging with my friends and family links. No offense to those of you on the second list - I just thought I'd make it easier on those of us who are a little more obsessive about blogging and check everyone's once a day. :) (Hope you don't mind if I copied you Jenni, but you had such a good idea, I couldn't resist!
